It’s a little bit of everything rolled into one big event but we’ll be focusing specifically on all things film and television. Big streaming services like Paramount+, Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu, and Peacock will all be premiering new projects at the fest.

What to Expect at this Year's SXSW Film & TV Festival

Headlining films this year include Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Evil Dead Rise, Problemista, Flamin’ Hot, Bottoms, Joy Ride, and Tetris. There’s the horror flick Appendage which will debut later this year on Hulu, a documentary about the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, and a work-in-progress screening of a new Robert Rodriguez film.

As for TV, there’s the new Disney+ show American Born Chinese, yet another limited series about the ax-murdering Candy Montgomery from HBO Max, Peacock’s drama Mrs. Davis, Paramount’s Kiefer Sutherland-starring Rabbit Hole, and Roku’s multiverse dramedy Slip.
