Hallmark Movies Now- How to Watch Hallmark Channel Without Cable

This is a streaming service (like Netflix or Hulu) offered by Hallmark. It features commercial-free, on-demand shows and movies for a monthly subscription fee.

The library of content features familiar favorites like When Calls the Heart and Good Witch. There’s also some programs you won’t see on the regular Hallmark Channel like Heartland

To watch Hallmark Movies Now, you’ll need to visit their website or download their app. Be aware that the Hallmark Movies Now website and app are different than those for the regular Hallmark Channel.

The Hallmark Movies Now app is available to download on a variety of mobile devices, streaming players (like Roku and Amazon Fire TV), and smart TVs. A subscription costs $4.99 per month for a monthly subscription or $59.99 per year for an annual subscription. Both the yearly and monthly options feature a seven-day free trial.

The plans renew until you cancel, but there’s no commitment and you can cancel at any time.

Hallmark Movies Now vs. Hallmark Channel

So wait a minute, you might ask, what’s the difference between Hallmark Movies Now (HMN) and the Hallmark Channel?

HMN (the streaming service) and Hallmark Channel (the live channel) have distinctive lineups of shows and movies. Certain titles you will find on one but not the other. Yet there's still significant overlap

Another difference is that Hallmark Movies Now is commercial free whereas Hallmark Channel is not. Access to the Hallmark Channel requires a cable, satellite, or live TV streaming service subscription. To watch shows and movies on the regular Hallmark website or app, you will need to sign-in with a TV provider.

Finally, Hallmark Channel provides a live channel whereas Hallmark Movies Now does not.

Frndly TV

This is a live TV streaming service that lets you watch various “cable” channels over the internet, through their website or app.

Frndly TV has over 35 channels, including A&E, History, The Weather Channel, INSP, and Lifetime. With a Frndly TV subscription, you’ll get access to Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

You can watch shows and movies from Hallmark, or any other other included channels, either live or on-demand. There is also the option to record shows with a cloud DVR (no equipment needed).

Frndly TV is available to download on a variety of devices such as Roku players and Amazon Fire TV.

Subscriptions to Frndly TV start at $6.99 per month after a seven day free trial. If you really want to go all-out, they also offer Hallmark Movies Now as an add-on.

NEW! Watch Hallmark Channel with Peacock

Beginning in November 2022, Peacock partnered with Hallmark Channel to make all three of their live “cable” channels (Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama) available at no extra cost for Peacock Premium subscribers.

In addition to the ability to watch Hallmark Channel live through the Peacock app, you can stream Hallmark movies and shows on-demand. These include popular series like When Calls the Heart and movies like The Christmas Train.

At just $4.99 a month for Peacock Premium, this makes Peacock the most affordable way to access the Hallmark Channel without cable. To remove ads from the on-demand programming or download movies to watch offline, you can also get Peacock Premium Plus for $9.99 a month.
