Don’t Hold Your Breath For More Stranger Things This Year

The pandemic strikes again.

Let's get real- we all want to see more Stranger Things. It's been almost TWO years since we saw new episodes and those kids aren't getting any younger. Many people were hopeful we'd see the fourth season sometime in 2021.

Well, folks, I've got some bad news. According to star Finn Wolfhard (who plays Mike Wheeler), the show should be back “sometime next year.” This was said during a recent Fanmio video call, and the clip can be viewed on Twitter here.

The show halted production in March of last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but resumed production In September. Since the show is heavy on visual effects, it will likely take a long time to finish post-production.

Here's to hoping the show comes back bigger and stronger than ever.
