What is National Streaming Day?

It’s a shopping holiday (like Black Friday or Prime Day) that was created by Roku in 2014. Typically Roku offers discounts, contests, and other promotions. 

Since 2020, Disney has participated as well, offering discounts on the Disney-owned streaming services and using the day as an opportunity to announce upcoming shows.

What is Hulu Offering for This Year’s National Streaming Day?

From now until May 27th, 2023, you can get Hulu (with ads) for just two bucks a month for three months!

What’s more is that you can add on Disney+ (with ads) to your subscription for just $2 more per month, giving you both Hulu and Disney+ for $4/month.

This offer is available to new customers or anyone who has not been a Hulu subscriber for at least one month.

What is Roku Offering for This Year’s National Streaming Day?

Save Up to 90% Off Streaming Subscriptions on The Roku Channel

Several streaming services are available at steep discounts if you sign up through the Roku Channel. These offers include Peacock for 99 cents a month for two months. Paramount+ for 99 cents a month, and Apple TV+ for 3 months free.

Over 30 streaming channels offer discounts from now until May 23rd including STARZ, AMC+, BET+, MGM+, and Wondrium.

You can get the Roku Express for $5 off or the Roku Streaming Stick 4K for $10 off. 

Roku TVs including the the Roku Select series or the Plus Series smart TV models are available for up to $200 off from Best Buy.

Roku is giving away smart TVs, smart home accessories, and merchandise from Weird: the Al Yankovic Story through their website. There’s even a prize pack of cookbooks and kitchen utensils to go along with the Roku Original cooking series from Chef Morimoto, Emeril, and Martha Stewart.
