How often do you struggle to find something on your favorite streaming platform? Or better yet, how often are you trying to figure out what is new on TV? We hope to give you a helping hand by sharing what's streaming this weekend on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and more!

What's Streaming This Weekend? 4/8-4/9/23

Netflix

Beef – TV series

Excerpt from my review: With exceptional writing that is full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat, mixed with a brilliant ensemble cast, it's one big adrenaline rush that will keep you clicking to the next episode. Beef is one of the best series of the first quarter of 2023.

Chupa – Movie

Yes, we even have something for the kids this weekend with the debut of the Netflix Original Movie, Chupa. The film follows a thirteen-year-old kid who flies from Kansas City to Mexico to visit his family for the first time. While there, he finds a rare chupacabra, a rare mythical creature he befriends. The film comes from Academy Award-winning director Alfonso Cuarón's son, Jonás Cuarón and stars Christian Slater, Demián Bichir, and Evan Whitten in the lead role of the kid.

Love is Blind Season 4 – New Episodes

Have you followed along with season 4 of Love is Blind like I have? Well, this week's episode highlights the couples preparing for their wedding, as next week, we find out who does or doesn't say yes at the altar. I have already seen these episodes, and in the following weeks the drama is only ramping up!

Hulu

Tiny Beautiful Things – TV Series

Tiny Beautiful Things follows the story of a woman who becomes a Dear Sugar. She is a highly sought-after advice columnist despite her life falling apart. The series recently received the Critics Choice Association Seal of Female Empowerment in Entertainment (SOFEE). This is actually on my radar to check out this weekend.

Dave – First Two Episodes of Season 3

One of the best comedy shows on TV returned this week with Dave. The show is back for its third season, where we will follow Dave hitting the road on tour across the U.S. However, the real reason he is on tour is to finally end his time as a single man and find himself a soulmate.

Prime Video

On a Wing and a Prayer – Movie

On a Wing and a Prayer is based on the true story of one man who is forced to take over a plane after the pilot dies and has to land the plane or else he and his family will die. The movie stars Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham in the lead roles.

Lizzy Hoo: Hoo Cares!? – Stand-up Comedy Special

For those just getting to know me here, I am a massive fan of stand-up comedy. It's hands down one of the easiest escapes in the world if you are in a bad mood. This was my introduction to Lizzy Hoo, and she made me a fan of this special. It's not perfect, but if you want an easy laugh this weekend, watch it.
